The Executive Council of Warri South Local Government, has announced the dissolution of all revenue committees for 2025.

Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu, in a statement released Monday January 5, noted that the dissolution, which takes immediate effect, does not affect commercial tenement .

Mr. Nunu, who urged members of the dissolved committees to hand over relevant Council documents in their possession to the Revenue Unit of the Local Government Council, advised residents of Warri South Local Government Area, not to honour  demand notices from the disbanded revenue agents , until the Council issues further directive.

Whilst stressing that payment for commercial tenement through the accredited firm, Nicolex Technologies, continues for the year 2026, the Warri South Local Government Scribe, enjoined business owners and residents of Warri South Local Government Area, to report illegal revenue collectors to security agencies, assuring that the Council was ready to align its revenue policy with the new tax laws of the federal government.
